First of all, you're posting on a two year old question that is already answered.
You should create a new thread.
the following is what i understand from your query,
- get the unique job definitions from job definition table
- for each job definition returned above, display if it was killed or error status.
So if you have a job definition that ran twice and was killed both times, you will see the duplicates.
For example, an hourly job was in error status for the last 10 runs, the query will return all the 10 rows from job table ordered by their start time.
The original question is preparing a report on job definition table and it made sense not to have duplicates.
